Chinese - Mandarin SL	Available through Distance Education and Face to Face Classes. Distance Education is available at secondary levels only. Most Face to Face Classes are held on Saturday mornings between 9.00am and 12.20pm. There are some evening classes. Check with the particular centre. Teaching sessions for the Melbourne and Geelong Centres for 2010 are: Term 1: February 6, 13, 20, 27 March 13, 20, 27 Term 2: April 17, 24 May 1, 8, 22, 29 June 5, 19 Term 3: July 17, 24 (VCE only, VELS reporting day), 31 August 7, 14, 21, 28 September 4, 11, 18 (VCE Only) Term 4: October 9, 16, 23, 30 November 6 (Final day for VCE students), 13, 20 Face to Face Classes are not held during school vacations, on public holidays or during a long weekend when a public holiday falls on a Saturday or a Monday. The VSL is primarily an institution for school age students, however some adult programs are available. Enquire at the relevant centre.
Cost	Face to Face Classes - Students in Years 1 to 10 $65, VCE $80, adults in VCE classes or country classes $200. Distance Education - Non School Based Students (7 -12) $210, Government School Students (7-12) $160, Non-Government Students (7-12) $560.
